Yesterday was another gorgeous day, so I did some field work and took pictures all over campus!
Yesterday I covered the Men’s Lacrosse game. I got a bunch of crowd shots and pictures of the fans.
The weather has been beautiful this week, so I took some pictures around campus. I got some scenic shots, as well as pictures of students walking around or doing schoolwork.
J Term Video!
This is the video that Chris Ryder and I completed for advertising J Term. It is now live on Hartwick campus and on the college’s website!
Greek Bid Day! Bid day was on Friday, and we’re currently working to get Greek Life more represetation on the website and in The Wick, so I’m going to help out with that. Monster sponsered us, and there was tons of free Monster for everyone involved.
Continued taking pictures of J Term journals this week. There are a TON of them. I thought it was going to be boring (which it is a little bit) but I’m really enjoying it. Being able to read everyone’s different experiences on their trips is making me want to go on every one of these trips! Everyone learned so much and it looks like they all had a great time. I’m learning little things about each of the trips and the places that they went. Its really interesting to read about the different cultures and what happens on each of the trips.
Today I spent all morning photographing J-Term journals and souviners. The photos I took are going to be used for the next 2 years advertising for Hartwick. These pictures will hopefully encourage Alumni to donate money to J-Term scholarships. I also worked today with Chris Ryder (James Jolly’s intern) and we finished the J-Term video and it went live on the Hartwick TV Channel this afternoon.
I’ve got a few ideas of things I’m going to photograph this week:
- Hike up to Table Rock for scenic pictures
- I’ll cover the blood drive on Wednesday
- Sorority Spring Recruitment
- Conversation with the President (?)
- Water Polo match on Friday
I’ll also be working with another intern to make the J-term slideshow by this Friday.
